Plan Summary: This plan covers everything not Harry Potter in both Universal Orlando parks. Be ready to get wet!
take Uber or Lyft to Universal Studios – Destination: 6000 Universal Blvd – 40 minute travel time
You'll walk through City Walk and then head to the park based off early admission
if you have early admission arrive 30 minutes prior to rope drop to the park with early admission. Do any rides that are open in that park outside of Harry Potter, then get in line on the Hogwarts Express to get to the backside of the other park.
if you don't have early admission, head to the other park that will be less busy at opening
Express passes are worth it if the parks are busy
My plan from 2006: http://touringplans.com/plans/print?id=1752093
Early admission typically alternates between the two parks each month. Head to the ride that isn't available for fast pass (Jurassic VelociCoaster or Revenge of the Mummy depending on park)
Best place to get a drink: _________________
My sit down suggestion: Mythos
fun place to eat: Louie's Italian Restaurant - HUGE pizza's - feed a lot of people affordably
Springfield Area Food Trucks - Krusty Burger – Krusty Burger, Ribwich, Foot Long
Universal Studios
In the Men in Black que, don't overlook the themed doors when watching the worm guys on their extended break. Try to jiggle the door handles. The "Oxygen-Free Zone" will play an air-sucking sound. The "Fingerprint Removal" will vibrate and display an electricity-simulating lighting effect in the window.
In Revenge of the Mummy, in the dig site area, on the surveillance camera monitor when the touch point lights up blue you can activate a blast of air to scare unsuspecting guests on the bridge up ahead.
In Revenge of the Mummy, two people need to touch and hold both of the hand-prints at same time for 10 seconds and a secret Medjai symbol will light up on the ceiling.
In Revenged of the Mummy, try and grab the hologram artifact in a hold in the wall in the next hallway will get you blasted with air and dim the lights.
The Manhole covers are themed to the city you're supposed to be in.
Real-life version of the Love Tester is inside Moe's Tavern. Squeezing the handle will give you your love score.
Gary the Snail is hiding inside the pineapple under the sea where you will also find party music and disco lighting inside.
Inside E.T. que, can you find the 2 bunnies and 2 owls?
Islands of Adventure
101 Acres
The curvy facades in Seuss Landing is made using Styrofoam.
Step on the footprint prints outside Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers, and you'll hear a message from a Sneetch.
Stand near the bridge behind Mythos and you may hear a troll underneath it.
Step on the dinosaur footprints in Camp Jurassic - they'll roar at you.
Look for the can of Barbasol shaving creek tucked away on a shelf inside the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. It contains embryos of dinosaurs (it's from the movie).
Look at the ground at the entrance to Doctor Doom's Fearfall. You'll see the outlines of the Doctor's unfortunate previous victims.
Look out for a message on the manhole cover that you plummet towards at the end of The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
The Pharos Lighthouse is based on the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
